I love making toad houses. Many years ago, I made one using acorn tops. I sat it in my garden and didn’t see any toads, so I thought it was just for fun and toads don’t actually use them. A few years later, there was a broken flower pot sitting in my garden and when I picked it up there was a huge toad inside. I thought that was so cute! I covered him back up and didn’t disturb him again. This year I made one using river rocks. I hope my toad friend enjoys this one!
Many different kinds of natural materials can be hot glued onto a flower pot. Or you could make it simple and just use an old broken pot and prop it up somehow. I really have fun making these look nice and sitting them around my garden.
