Garden Projects

We are working on two new projects for our garden.  Hubby did an awesome job digging up the grass, adding dirt, and mulching on each side of the front walkway.

He found this beautiful red salamander.

I planted phlox, impatiens, marigolds, and added a couple of solar lights.

The second project is a spot behind our house near the woods that I can see from the kitchen window.  I planted chamomile, cilantro, and parsley in the 3 pots.  Usually I have all my herbs in pots on the deck, so it’s nice to create another area for some of them.  I added two solar lights and moved the hummingbird feeder next to the pots.  We added a rock border and mulch as well.

This is the lovely chamomile.  So nice for tea, soaps, and more!  Look for future posts about how I use my herbs this summer.

Tomorrow I will share some handy tips for a healthy garden.  Thanks for stopping by and bee well.🐝❤

  3. The walkway looks great! I hope to have an herb garden this year. I’ve already started with some rosemary and basil in small containers

  4. So pretty, I love that you also have the woods right in your back yard. And that Salamander is so striking with the red and black dots. What a beautiful garden.
