We had a chance to go hiking at Tuscarora State Park today. This has been our favorite hiking spot since 2006. The last time we were here was in March when I wrote about the Spirit of Tuscarora Trail.
As you can see, the view of the lake from the dam is stunning. The weather in our area lately has been wonderful. Warm, low humidity, and a nice breeze.
More beautiful views of the lake from the trail. We enjoy the ferns, hemlock trees, and rhododendron here too.
It’s fun to find interesting mushrooms. : )
The trail crosses two creeks. We often have the trails to ourselves and the only other people we saw were in boats. If you have a chance to hike here or anywhere in Pennsylvania you’ll be happy you did.
Here’s the pretty meadow at the end of the trail. One view of many that always inspires me.
We were so happy to be here today. I hope you enjoyed our pictures, thanks for stopping by!
Plant native plants, stop using pesticides, and tell others about it. ❤
