Fringed Milkwort

Hi There, Hubby and I had a chance to go on a hiking road trip yesterday. It was so much fun and we missed doing this since our schedules changed last year. We went back to four State Parks that we needed stamps for our Passport book. The first one was Colonel Denning. We found a spot to have a snack then went on a nice hike.

We saw a native wildflower we haven’t seen before called fringed milkwort. Hubby noticed right away that it looked like a hummingbird next to a flower.

I love this time of year before mosquitoes and biting flies. I loved our hike and the weather was warm with a cool breeze. We talked about going back this summer because there’s a trail to an overlook we want to do next time.

  1. Wow, it is so pretty and peaceful there. I bet you guys love visiting this hike. Always have such beautiful photos too. I can’t wait to go up north and see if they have any flowers out.
